Why slopes
Durham's geography makes sloping gardens the norm. We'd rather embrace that than work round it, so we've made steep and hillside gardens our speciality.
How we work
We survey the garden, take levels and check the ground and walls. Then we design and send a written, itemised quote. When the job goes ahead, we plan access, protect your property and keep you informed.
Safety
On a hillside, steps and guarding matter most. We follow Building Regulations guidance and design them with the deck.
Decks only
We build decks and nothing else.
The survey
We never quote a sloping garden from photos alone. At the visit we take levels, check the ground and any walls, and look at how we'd get materials in. Then we write the quote properly.
On site
We protect paths and floors, keep materials tidy on narrow sites and clear up at the end of each day. We'll keep you updated, especially if the weather delays work on exposed hillside plots.
